As with any equipment everything has limitations, our products are not rated, but you should never exceed the ratings of any other equipment in a system. We are not liable for any damages due to overloading. Please confirm that this is compatible with your bracket, this is not compatible with the Super/Heavy duty plows. If you are unsure if it will fit your vehicle measure the diameter of the holes in the truck side mount, if they are 3/4" you have a light duty plow and need this bracket, if they are 1" you need a Heavy/Super Duty bracket.
