Daler-Rowney Artists' Watercolors are characterized by their rich, free-flowing colors, and leave no hard lines on the edges of washes. Their unparalled performance is due to precise formulation and superb pigments. The manufacturing process includes strict quality controls and a tried and true method of production. Colors are slowly ground on granite triple roll mills that mimic hand grinding. This method has been relied upon to make superb colors for over 170 years! To release the full intensity of the color, the pigment is ground to its finest particle size and fully and evenly dispersed. Each batch of color is tested several times to ensure that not only the color is perfect but that it will react and perform flawlessly. To celebrate their bicentennial, Daler-Rowney reintroduced these watercolors and today they are one of the most pigmented, brilliant and lightfast in the world.
